When a officer runs a computer check it usually for records within the city or state. If a cop wishes to pursue the matter he may run a FBI NCIC records check. The police don't normally conduct a NCIC check because it probably takes more time. On

I understand that when a person dies, their credit card debt has to be paid from the estate. Do they get to tack on penalties and interest to the bill for the estate to pay?
