Police: Mom Gave Meth To 3-Month-Old Baby
Baby Rushed To Children's Hospital With Seizures

DENVER -- A 27-year-old mother was arrested Wednesday, accused of giving
methamphetamine to her 3-month-old baby, Denver police said.
The infant was brought to Children's Hospital last Friday suffering from
seizures. Doctors called police after they determined that the baby had
ingested meth.
The child's mother, Katreice Trujillo, was arrested on allegations of child
abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. The case is being investigated by
the Denver Police Missing and Exploited Persons Unit.
Trujillo has had a run-in with the law before. She has a lengthy criminal
history with arrests in Denver, Lakewood, Brighton, Thornton and Northglenn
for harassment, assault and driving with a suspended license.
