This is a highly interesting story. I believe it would be wrong to hold
NSI responsible, for an entirely different attitude existed in 1995.
Probably the notion of stealing a domain name hardly existed. It is

You can call yourself any name you wish. To change legal
documents, however, such as driver's license, social security
card, etc., you will have to go through the formal process of
changing your name in court.
