I reguallarly ingnore the BBB, and get rather "surly/violent" with them on
the phone about the 3rd solititation call.
IMHO they are nothing more than an interactive "yellow pages" where thier
advertisers/clients get preferential listings......

Do you mean the graduated (age 16-17, with hours of operation
restrictions) or the learner's (age 15, drive only with an adult)
license?
Driving alone on a learner's license carries a different penalty: an
additional 1-year wait before you can move

Thanks. I'll do that from now on. I called the FTC and the lady said I
should send the debt collector a seize of communications letter. But if I do
that then I won't be able to set up a payment plan with them.

They're just trying to scare you. They can't put a lien on your house or
take any property without a court judgment. And for that they'd have to sue
you. And since it's only ~$2000 they'd have to do it in small claims court
